Based in Los Angeles, Jonathan Keasey has worked as a Writers Guild of America screenwriter since 2012. He has written and produced numerous pictures for major film studios such as Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Columbia Pictures, and Paramount Pictures. A few of his credits include The Barracks Thief, adapted from Thomas Wolff’s National Medal of the Arts-winning novella, and Wings of Freedom. Jonathan Keasey has written and produced projects starring some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Rose Byrne and Octavia Spencer
In addition to his screenwriting work, Jonathan Keasey is a professor at Trinity College in Dublin. He began teaching a screenwriting masterclass at the college in 2023. In the past, he has taught screenwriting at Seattle University and served as the executive director of the Inmates Screenwriting Initiative at The Film School.
A licensed attorney, Jonathan Keasey’s pro bono work includes eight years with Judges for Justice. He earned the 2024 Voice for Justice Award from the Center for Justice and Post Exoneration Assistance.
